Reason is subordinate to emotion, mental inertia and indifference make the conquest of reason even easier. Political correctness is good manners, but good manners should not be an excuse for abandoning reason. PC started on the left, but the right soon cottoned on, and it's led to Bush using 9/11 and the emotion it provokes to mislead the American people. If you oppose them you are not patriotic, or even worse you are a traitor in the war against terrorism. In the end PC may drag us all into World War Three. Emotion should never triumph over reason but it is doing so. And that's why I don't like politcal correctness.
